At Haugaard, we recognize the need for continuously strive to improve our Corporate Social Responsibility CSR-including minimizing of our environmental impact.
We comply with applicable local, national and international laws and regulations.
HUMAN RIGHTS
In our organization we work within the UN Global Compacts Principles, including human and labor rights along with national legislation.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Employees of Haugaard must have a written employment agreement, detailing their area of responsibilities, workhours, breaks, salary and holiday entitlements according to national and international law.
NON-DISCRIMINATION
Any form of discrimination, harassment and degradation is forbidden. Fair treatment across all types regardless of age, race, culture, or sexual orientation.
FORCED LABOUR AND CHILD LABOUR:
We do not accept any form of forced labour of employees nor any form of child labour within the organization of Haugaard and our suppliers.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
We organize work, create installations and provide workers with safe and health conditions. We have all daily necessities, clean water, sanitation, hygiene facilities and canteen. According to ISO 14001 we have emergency plans and facilities.
ILLNESS AND PARENTAL LEAVE
All employees are allowed absence for illness and parental leave, compensating for these in accordance with the national law of the country.
BUSINESS ETHICS/INTEGRITY
Corruption is prohibited in any form. Bribery or extortion likewise.
Confidentiality and data protection must be handled according to local policy as well as according to customer demands and national laws and regulations. This also applies if a business relationship ends.
PHILANTHROPIC RESPONSIBILITY
Corporate social responsibility that challenges how a company acts and how it contributes to society. This includes:
Donates profit to charities or causes it believes in.
Supports employee philanthropic for sport or matching contributions.

Through our work under ISO 14001 we pursue environmental stewardship optimal logistics, operations and support of related causes
• We recommend the use of sustainable materials and that wood supplies come from legal foresty and as FSC certified company we primarily as our customers to use wood from certified materials as standard
• Recycling goods and materials, including promoting re-use practices with our customers.
